Why does this exist?

I needed a simple, no-friction formatter I could open in a browser tab and use immediately. Every tool I found was either cluttered with ads, locked behind a sign-up, or only handled one format. I couldn't find anything that was just clean and easy to use, so I built my own.

What it can do

• Auto-detect format

  Paste any text and the tool figures out whether it's JSON, CSV, XML, or Markdown — no manual selection needed.

• Format on demand

  Click Format and your text is pretty-printed in place. No page reload, no copy-paste gymnastics.

• Best-effort formatting

  Even malformed input gets formatted as far as possible, with a clear error message explaining what went wrong.

• Side-by-side viewers

  JSON tree view, CSV table view, rendered Markdown, and XML tree view — all collapsible and resizable.

• Manual format override

  Know what you're working with? Pick the format yourself and skip detection entirely.

• Undo

  One-click undo brings back your original text if you don't like the result.

• Persisted format selection

  Your last manually chosen format is remembered across sessions — no need to re-select every time.
